Champion Business Leader

Josh  DiLuciano - Avista

Josh is the Vice President of Energy Delivery for Avista, which employs approximately 1,800 employees in Spokane. Avista offers up a CTR recognition program, subsidized vanpool & bus passes and secured bike storage. And after the pandemic, they now offer hybrid work schedules for employees who are able to telework, allowing those employees to only work in the office 2-3 days per week.

Josh feels the CTR program provides affordable transportation options for all employees, whether they take the bus, carpool, vanpool, walk, bike, telework or work a compressed work schedule. Saving employees time and money, all while making a positive impact on our environment.

To have a successful CTR program, Josh thinks it’s important to know what employee needs are and adapt the CTR program around that. A lot has changed since COVID, so Avista is currently looking at ways they need to adapt and revise their CTR program.

Avista has been a long-term participant in Spokane County’s CTR program. Josh feels it’s important for Avista to support Spokane County’s CTR program, to be part of something that has a positive impact in our community, and they’re happy to do so.

ETC, Kristen Chapa, says “Josh has been very supportive in helping me promote the CTR program and find ways to improve it”.

Congratulations Josh!
