Champion Commuter

Paul Victor, Eastern Washington University

Paul Victor is a Librarian and Professor at Eastern Washington University. Paul has been riding the bus to campus since 2013.

With a nearly 60-mile round trip commute, Paul uses the time on the bus to be efficient and get his work done. He can respond to emails/texts, help students and get caught up on his work before even getting to campus.

Paul likes how much he saves on gas and wear and tear on his car. He admits it takes him longer to take the bus than if he were to drive to campus, but he deems the cost saving and efficient use of his time good enough reasons to take the bus.

He appreciates the modern buses and frequent running times. He also enjoys the Eagle Station stop on campus that’s covered and has heat lamps. It definitely helps during the winter months!

Since logging his trips, Paul has saved over 37,000 miles from being driven on Spokane County roads and nearly $11,000 in commuting costs!

ETC, Michelle Rasmussen, says “Paul is an avid user and promoter of alternative travel. His support and help to promote CTR on campus are greatly appreciated”.

Congratulations Paul!
